UPCOMING PROJECTS

The goal of the Multicultural and Diversity Project – a BIPOC-led  organization– is to provide BIPOC people including Canada’s multicultural community with the tools needed to break down the barriers that racism, and discrimination toward visible minorities present. People of multicultural and diverse backgrounds living in Canada, and particularly in Quebec, face barriers to opportunities that allow them to attain their full potential. These barriers exist preventing access to meaningful employment, education, justice, and healthcare. Government-backed research and data have proven that anti-black racism and systemic discrimination are sometimes real causes of this lack of access. The Multicultural and Diversity Project seeks to address these community issues by delivering programs and services that help strengthen communities and provide them with the tools to overcome these barriers. We do so by applying a holistic and all-encompassing approach to the social, educational, financial, and civic development of BIPOC children, adults, seniors, and families. Our approach includes running a variety of projects and programs that deliver financial literacy workshops, events celebrating Canada’s multiculturalism, and partnerships with community groups to deliver unique programming to our target market.
